Meet Up with smk dato' onn's gang at Newtown~~~

it's now past 12 am, so i have 2 say i met up with my ex-smk dato onn members yesterday although it was juz a few hours ago.lol. it's sooo long since i last met them. i onli met some of them (kapil & mei wen) when i came back from Taylor's for holidays but i think i havent met most of them since SPM..walaoo. thank god i was given the chance 2 meet up wit them again now although it was just for a while. All of them looked different now~~ more handsome(which includes me laa of cozz..=.="") and beatiful than ever...haha. Had some chats bout our studies and lifes. And of coz cracked some jokes. Before i had 2 leave, i managed 2 snap a group photo at Newtown Kopitiam~~woohooo....

Dong Zhi (Winter Solstice Festival)

Yesterday was dong zhi (winter solstice festival)... Every year, my mum will make tang yuan(dunno wat it's called in english) but its main ingredient is glutinous rice flour. But this year it was me & my sis who made it coz my mum was not allowed 2 do it as my grandpa juz passed away recently. According to the old people, eat tang yuan will make u grow older by a year. Frankly, i'm not so sure whether we get older by a year everytime we eat tang yuan or we get older for every tang yuan we eat. If the latter one was correct (which i assume it's definitely not) then i'm oredi more than 100 yrs old.LOL. Anyway, tang yuan is readily available out there and we can easily buy it. However, there's nothing more meaningful than making them urself. It tasted really delicious when u finally cooked it with tong sui (sweet dessert soup or simply/literally sugar water).

So, there're only 4 colours here dis year. We used 2 have blue, brown and orange as well. They taste really great, smooth & sweet~~~

this morning i read theStar newspaper.. the news that surprises me is the fact that there are still families in Penang who live in poverty. they are still banking on voluntary associations to provide them food. i was juz wondering why they cant even afford the most basic necessity in life! maybe they weren't as lucky as we are. OR maybe they are juz not helping themselves. They have kids whose futures are very much in their hands. According to the newspaper, they are retrenched workers due to economic downturn. In my opinion, there are always jobs available as long as ur not being lazy or picky. Why still wanna choose when u dun have much choices..?? sth is better than nth rite...if ur not goin 2 help urself, no one else can~

Enrolment oh enrolment....sigh

sigh.. keep thinking wat units of study 2 be taken for next yr. the dilemma is-

1. whether to take certain subjects in 2nd yr or 3rd yr.
2. whether to take the subjects in 1st sem or 2nd sem. (coz the assessments are different for both sems where they may be easier in the 1st sem)

i still have plenty of time 2 make up my mind...perhaps till the beginning of jan...which is so so near..T.T each time i think of this thing, i will always say aiyaa, 2moro oni la decide...so, it becomes 2moro & 2moro & 2moro~~~

here i am again...

woke up even earlier 2day..5.30 a.m...=______= mayb dats bcoz i slept very early last nite around 11pm. so, it's more than a week i'm back here and i've been eating a lot of coz. i've taken the pics of almost everything i ate and they'll b posted on fb soon~~~

initially, i was planning 2 work but i've changed my mind. Mainly due to mum's influence..haha. she said 2 me wats the purpose of coming back for holidays if i'm back juz 2 work?? at this stage, i dun need 2 earn money for my family, hence i dun have 2 work. talking about working experience?? i've experienced dat b4 and i knew everything pretty well dat working is not easy, have to be humble, FACE must b THICKER (in chinese--> HOU LIAN PI!!), polite, punctual, friendly, bla bla bla... therefore, i dun have 2 work again... i'm juz finding reasons 2 justify my decision.lol

well, i guess mum is rite after all dat if i wanna work here, i cud have worked in sydney b4 eventually coming back here. so, i've decided 2 stay at home, eat, help my mum with her house chores, continue 2 learn how 2 cook and of coz 2 tutor my sis for her SPM next year...

i'm hungry now =S ...time for breakfast....

y do i wake up so early every morning huh?! as early as 6.30am???? i dun even do dat while i'm in sydney. neither will anyone do dat especially during holidays rite.. maybe dats bcoz i sleep early evry nite. back in sydney, i'll sleep as late (or perhaps as early) as 4-5 am! guess i'm back 2 my high school life where i used 2 wake up as early as 5.30 a.m....sigh
