O.O!! busy busy week ahead !

few months & few weeks ago, i didn't see it coming. neither do i even care. becoz i was focused on studies. all of a sudden, i've been bombarded with mails from companies such as PWC, KMPG, Maxis, Astro, Khazanah Nasional which asked me to send in my resume, take their online tests and to confirm my attendance for interviews. Next week itself, i have 2 interviews to attend, one on Wednesday and another on Saturday. Much preparation to be done to stand out among other applicants. Hrmm, dat's not my main concern though. Guess wat's in my mind at the moment? It's about " WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?! " @@

back again...

finally my 1st update after ermmm, some time ago.. i was lazy to update coz life was too dull...no thanks to homeworks, assignments and exams. plus, i was busy, the 1st half of this sem was so hectic but i can see the 2nd half of the sem will definitely be less stressful =)

and i haven't played badminton for errm, 4 weeks? no wonder i can see my tummy getting bigger...i ate a lot for the past few weeks =} nevertheless, 2moro i'll be bac to the badminton court! =D time to flex some muscle! *shed some sweats and get rid of fats to be exact...*

room's getting messy, laundry piling up, but i'm free now! one week of spring break is definitely more than enuf to get things organised again..=D shall off to sleep now..final lecture 2moro b4 the start of a well-deserved spring break!

10 more days!

10 more days till my winter break ends & for me to go bac Sydney! This holiday has been really great. Eating & eating simply makes my day. I don't care anymore about weight..i'm still too young to think too much about dat, haha. This yr, i've been enjoying the best durian feast ever! We decided not to buy durians from the roadside seller which sells pretty cheap but not so delicious. So, we went for durian dat costs approx. rm 20-30 each. While pricy, the satisfaction is priceless. Only 4-5 'biji' in 1 durian wat on earth!, which makes every 'biji' approx rm 4-6, breaks the bank and also the heart as u eat!! but really it was so delicious i could not describe how it feels, hahaha. 2nite i'll be eating durian again @@

 While i'm not ready to end this holiday just yet, i'm already looking forward to the next sem! I know it's gonna be harder than last sem, but hey the word impossible never existed in my dictionary! Last sem was tough especially with one of my finance subjects dat i thought the chances of even securing a distinction was beyond reach but as i've said, impossible is nth & thank gudness i managed to pull it off in the final exam! Now i'm hoping to maintain my consistency towards what could be my final semester..i wanna finish my degree on a high note, not to fulfill my own objective but to make my parents proud. But i hope to still be in Sydney comes 2012. Not really looking forward to working just yet.

Meanwhile, i think i need to stop here coz i smell some nice cooking from the kitchen!! Time to sneak into the kitchen for some food!

Auckland Day 3-morning

Today's considered my last day here since i'll be going bac 2moro..

2moro's flight is as early as 11.25am..must b there a couple of hours earlier...better wake up early...@@

Not sure wat's the plan for the rest of 2day though..will see wat's their plan..i just wanna eat..haha

On an unrelated note, i was watching Masterchef Australia last nite around 2am? and i fell asleep with my laptop on my lap... luckily it did not drop on the floor...oh yes, i did not finish watching it wth..gonna continue now b4 we go out..=P

Auckland Day 2

6) HuluCat - Drink bubbletea, makan2 variety of snacks..

Man...u can count how many times i eat 2day...really kuat makan... unbelievable... GIANT!

In Auckland...=D

Weehee! I'm now in Auckland! Just reached a couple of hours ago! Boarded Air New Zealand which was really comfortable! On-board entertainment, food, comfy seat.. couldnt complain more..But of coz, gud thing comes with a price..$.$ this flight costed me $370 one way..damn..but it's a sunk cost already..who cares..hahaha Looking forward to the next few days i'm here..wanna try as much food as i can and visit as many nice places as possible! Supposed to be sleeping now coz gotta wake up 9 am 2moro..the time here is 2 hours faster than Sydney, so not used to it..seems so early at the moment, hence the reason i blogged...anyway, shud sleep soon!

What on earth?!

Was simply checking MyUni when i saw announcement saying results will be progressively released from 27th June onwards... Don't really believe markers will b so efficient though.. Still, decided to take a look if any results are released..=,= and i got a shock..@@ 1 of them  already released..O.o! It was the toughest exam for me this sem & prolly i shud b contented with the distinction but i'm only inches away from getting 85, the super high hurdle...i reckon they shud lower it to 80 oni..=(  i've worked very hard for this sub & marks have been pretty gud b4 the final exam..set myself a really high target for this sub but in the end, it's just not meant to be... anyway, 3 more subs left..hope they don't disappoint me anymore!

I can fly now!!

Aha! Finally i can fly to Auckland & then back to Msia!! yesh! =DD My patience has been tested to its limit these few days...seriously pissed for calling the call centre again & again. It took forever for them 2 pick up the phone & i'm incurring high amount of charges for my phone! No thanks to Jetstar's inefficiency! While all other airline are flying, they are not, citing the ash cloud as the concern.

Well, dat's partially true coz they're also trying to save cost at the same time by not wanting to fly below the clouds! They seriously need to learn how to weigh cost vs benefit of not flying..losing so many customers and having to refund so many flights. I've cancelled my direct flight to auckland & bought another ticket from another airline. In the end, it costs me additional $300 to re-book !!! Money fly away just like dat, again Jetstar's fault.

Anyway, who cares about the money anymore. It's sunk cost now..haha. Can't wait to fly 2moro!

Exam's finally over.. Have been counting the days to go back home before my exam. After exam, i'm still counting..and this time, i lost count..haha Ok this is not funny, this is so depressing!! I'm supposed to be flying 2 days ago! Yet, i'm still waiting...not knowing when will i get to fly. I'm living in a state of uncertainty at the moment.. =\

i'm so lazy..

Yes..i am so lazy. Sometimes i wish i had planned a holiday even if it's just for a week. I wished i had gone somewhere for the entire week. Just so dat i have nth 2 worry about; the homeworks and assignments. When i'm lazy, i intend 2 be lazy to the max!! But it appears that i can't be lazy anymore..sigh. Have a group meeting 2moro which spoils the lazy mood.. arghh.. i just wanna be lazy...

Finally a deserved break...

Woww... how shud i start then since i've not been blogging for a while..hrmm, well i've been bac here for 2 months and it seems like i'm just bac here not too long ago. Eight weeks completed for this semester, how quick is that?! Time flies~ A couple of assessments and mid-sems done. It's halftime now. The 2nd half of this sem will resume in 10 days' time. Meanwhile, i shud enjoy this short break to the fullest =D Sleep as long as i want, eat as much as i want, play as much as i want, & slack as much as i needed to!

Had lunch with a friend from Canberra this afternoon. He's still the same old him, hasnt changed a single bit! Still as funny as ever. As hardworking as ever. I heard he has 2 jobs to wrestle with while he's still a full-time uni student. That's quite impressive really. And he's paying 2 subjects by his own, very independent indeed. Despite not doing a double degree like him, i'm doing double major. And with double major alone, i've already felt that it's not easy, not to mention double degree! It's the end of his 2-wk easter break but the beginning of my 1-wk easter break. ONE week ONLY !!!

So, 2moro i'm joining my friend, Jason to bake cake and brownies! It's for the easter potluck event! Am anticipating lots and lots of nice food! *Drooolllllsssss* Can't wait to EAT! Yes, eating is what i do best. =P I've bought all the ingredients needed from Coles just now, few hrs b4 it closes. Cant buy them 2moro as it's closed for Easter. I'm having flu & it was so cold out there. My flu has only gotten worse =S Nevertheless, i shall be fine by 2moro hopefully..haha. I don't wanna be sneezing all the way thru the event! I need to smell the nice food!!! xD Alrite..time to sleep now..my bed is calling me zZzZ! Gud nite!

yayy!! it's thursday again! Done with uni for the week! So, 2moro's FRIDAY!!! "Friday friday~~Gotta get down on friday~~ everybody's lookin 4ward 2 da weekend, weekend~~" LOLLLLLLL!!! Sounds familiar ??? It's this song by Rebecca Black that emerged on youtube recently! Haha! I'm not addicted to this song but occasionally (or on every thursday) it's playing in ma head !! Books & readings away, let's just be lazy 2day & 2moro b4 the weekend begins =D

Things about my CNY celebration..

Where shud i begin then? Maybe i shud wish everyone Happy Chinese New Year 1st!! haha.. coz i havent had any post related to CNY yet. This year is the year of Rabbit.! Hop hop hop & may we all find happiness along the way throughout the whole year! Hrmm..i guess i'll share about my activities from the day b4 CNY up to prolly day 4? Coz the best CNY mood is usually in the 1st few days of CNY period..then it starts to cool off by day 4 or 5 isnt it?

The day b4:-
Mum cooked some delicious food for Tuan Yuan Fan.. Not the entire families are involved. U wanna know why? That's becoz ONLY my family had Tuan Yuan Fan with my grandma (my dad's mum) who lives with us. Just so that it doesnt spoil my mood to blog 2day, i'll leave it to another day to write more about the sad thing bout Tuan Yuan Fan this year. Anyhow, we still enjoyed our time together dining around a round old table.

Day 1-
Usually our CNY doesnt really get started at this very 1st day..haha. So, yes we all still wear our brand new clothes & i wore pink shirt on the 1st day..lols. Hey, come on! It's not gay ok! It depends on the ppl who wears it. Many guys wear pink these days & i think i looked gud on it. Will show u the pic on facebook pretty soon. On this very 1st day, we just went to a nearby Chinese temple to pray. We thought going a lil bit late in the afternoon will be better as prolly there'll b less ppl but we were wrong =,= Still there were so many ppl..haha. At night, we went to my maternal grandma's (my mum's mum) house.. Received some angpows from my grandma & my aunts there. Had some CNY cookies & watched my uncles & cousins playing firecrackers. It was freaking LOUD! and dangerous!

Day 2-
At home the whole day. Anticipating ppl 2 come which was the reason why we didnt go anywhere. My dad's 2nd sister came early in the afternoon. They are from KL. Later in the day, my dad's bro & some other relatives came. The house was really really packed! There's hardly any space left to walk around..haha. So yea, everyone talks & talks & talks. The amount of CNY cookies were decreasing at a very fast rate..lollss..but dat's gud news! Coz every year, we bought so much cookies & ended up not finishing it after CNY..

Day 3-
This day was prolly the busiest day! In the morning, we were at old house (my kampung house) as we were waiting for my dad's 1st & 3rd sister to come. They arrived in the afternoon & yes again we talked but different stories & topics of coz compared to day 2. They left later in the afternoon. Oh yea, and mum was xtremely busy preparing food since morning for our open house later at night. I did help my mum to cook but she's the one who puts all the ingredients la.haha..Her hand is a bit painful when she starts using some force..as a son, the best thing to do is to lend her a hand to cook! She cooked some fried noodles, fried bihun as well as two types of soup for the open house at night- errr normal soup & tomyam soup..haha. Yup, then we brought all the food to our 2nd house & continued to prepare for the steamboat. We unpacked all the seafood stuffs from the freezer, washed all the veges & heat up the soup. Shortly after, my relatives (this time my mum's side) arrived but they arrived pretty late actually. It was already about 9pm when they arrived. We enjoyed the steamboat & loads of CNY cookies. This time it's not the cookies but the drinks that are diminishing at extremely fast rate i must say! Especially the Shandy drink!! Tak sempat wanna top up the fridge with new ones but luckily we had ice cubes prepared in advance..haha.

Day 4-
It's about FOOD again..hehe. My uncle decided to treat our family & other relatives to a lunch at duno wat place. It was my 1st time there & the place is so secluded.haha. Never knew a restaurant can exist in such a place. Luckily we arrived early as they were more ppl at the restaurant about an hour or 2 later. We had 9 dishes on the table. Some food is very nice while some is just ok. Overall, it's still not bad..haha. It costs about RM1060.50 in total for 5 tables. Not sure if dat's expensive or considered cheap. After the lunch, it was photograph session! So many generations that i can see there from old to young! So, we all took our turns to take pics. About 39 ppl in total if i'm not mistaken..haha. That's it for the 1st half of the day. Moving on to the 2nd half of the day! At night my mum was invited to her ex-schoolmate's open house in Tambun Indah. It's a very nice place..a place where u can see many beautiful bungalows & dat means rich ppl area..haha. My mum was accompanied by me & my sis last yr but this yr, our whole family attended the open house. Not as many ppl as last yr though. That's becoz many ppl did not turn up due to vacations & other events. It was a buffet style dinner..eat as much and as many rounds as u want..lolls..i went 2 rounds onli ok!

Actually i can still talk about day 5 but it seems that this post is never ending..so, i decided to take a break here..haha..Hungry edi..time for brekky!

Great Day =D

Yesterday was a great day! =DD Yup, I did watch the CNY movie called Great Day with ma family on yesterday afternoon =) Luckily I've made reservations for the movie tickets 2 days in advance coz when I arrived yesterday to pick up the tickets, I was told that all the upper section seats are already fully booked! But I could see that the front seats were totally empty..lol. So yea! Thanks 2 my effort to sign up for the online membership & booked the tics earlier! *Proud*


Errm, actually it's been a while since I last watched a movie with ma family. Prolly the last one being the Chronicles of Narnia!! How long was dat?! So, yesterday was definitely a gud time 2 watch this nice movie =) Talking bout the movie, i know some ppl said it's a great movie while some said it's OK OK onli lo. As for me, I think it's a great movie! It really depends on which perspective ur looking at the movie. I think if you know Hokkien, Mandarin & Cantonese, then i tink u'll definitely enjoy the movie. Also, i'm glad dat I had my parents alongside me y'day coz there were certain things or artists mentioned in the movie which only my parents knew & they could tell me about it..then i was like AHAH & HAHAHA!! XD


Now, CNY is just around the corner! 10 more days 2 go! What's on your mind?! Isit food or $$$ ?! For me, it's both! + family togetherness! =DDD

my sympathy to the deceased..R.I.P

today, i attended a funeral of a man who has no family ties with my family. Nevertheless, he was a friend of my parents & also a next-door neighbour to my aunt. Though i wasn't close to this man, I could still feel sad over his death. He passed away couple of days ago, leaving behind a wife & four young children. The eldest child is only aged 9, can u imagine dat? The husband was the sole bread winner of the family & now dat he's gone, life will never be the same again for the poor wife & their children. His death was unexpected, really. He collapsed moments after complaining to his wife about dizziness & never woke up again. His brain was dead & the doctor pronounced that he had 1% chance of surviving even b4 surgery was carried out. 


This morning, I could feel the sombre mood of the funeral. I sat there pondering the similar atmosphere that my entire family and relatives went thru last year when my grandpa passed away. Back then, I was still in Sydney. Many things ran thru my brain 2day. I kept thinking about how short & how fragile human life can be. It's really scary when u start thinking about it. All these things just cant seem to escape my mind during the funeral procession till we reached the place where this man was cremated. Nonetheless, that's reality isnt it? A very harsh reality that each & everyone of us will eventually face one day.


After seeing the deceased being cremated, my parents & I visited our late grandpa at the same place. I could see he's no longer alone there. He's got more friends around to keep him company. It was already more than a year ago that grandpa passed away. Time really travels fast doesnt it? That really makes me realise dat i shud appreciate how precious time is.. Time doesnt wait & hence, there is no reason for us to wait for time...

How ridiculous is dat..?

Hrmm..price of Ron97 goes up once again.. It's an increase of 10cents! So what? Everytime there's this price hike, no doubt u'll see traffic jam around petrol kiosks. Everyone is trying to fill their oil tank to the max... How =.= is dat? Let me tell u why..


1st, how much petrol can u store with that tiny tank? So, tell me how much can u really save?! Plus, by the time u queue up for ur turn, how much petrol have u wasted?!


2nd, i even saw some luxury cars out there. Now dat u can afford that expensive car, tell me why do u have 2 make urself look as though dat 10 cent increase is a big fuss to u?? A shame on ya..


Ppl nowadays really don't use their brain well enough i suppose.. Perhaps they know how to add but doesnt know how to substract.. Basic math la ppl..
